A webinar on "IOT & Networking " was organized by the Departments of Computer Science and Computer Application in association with IQAC on 11/12/2017. Mr.Jay Karthik,  Pre-Sales Systems  Engineer at Cisco Systems, Greater Boston, USA. The Students had an interactive session on current trends in IT especially Networking and Security.

ISR ACTIVITIES

The Department of Computer Science undertook ISR activities in the month of August 2017 at Maduma Nagar School. Staff and students trained the 8^th standard students on basics of Ms-Office ( Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Workshop on “Image Editing & Web Designing using Adobe Photoshop”

A workshop on “Image Editing & Web Designing using Adobe Photoshop” was conducted on August 5, 2017 for the school students. Students participated enthusiastically and learnt the basics of image editing.

National Symposium on “Emerging IT Platforms”

National Symposium on “Emerging IT Platforms”, was organized by the Department of Computer Science, Chevalier T.Thomas Elizabeth College for Women, Chennai-11, on July 22, 2017. The Symposium brought together the subject experts, Professors and research scholars and students from various colleges.   The resource persons were:

    The department of Computer Science and Computer Applications, conducted workshop on “PYTHON” on February 20, 2017. Mr. Saravanan P from NIIT expertise in programming using PYTHON and its current applications in the IT industry.

                  

                    

                                   

IT Paradox

    The Departments of Computer Science and Computer Applications, conducted an International Seminar on “IT Paradox” on February  10, 2017 . Dr.Paul Devasahayam Manuel , Professor, Department of Information Science, Kuwait University, Kuwait. He gave an insight about the paradoxical relationship between Software Engineering and Computing and its impact on the future of IT.
