SEMINAR ON DATA MINING AND GEOSPATIAL TECHNOLOGY & WORKSHOP ON ANDROID APPLICATION

Ø  The Department of Computer Science organised a One day seminar in “DATA MINING AND GEOSPATIAL TECHNOLOGY” on July 21st 2016. Dr. G Mary Divya Suganya, Scientist C, Geospatial Division, Anna University Chennai, and Dr. B Lavanya, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Madras, Chennai gave the students conceptual overview of Geospatial technology.

Ø  An intercollegiate workshop on Android Application and its Development was organized to impart hands on training in Android App development. Mr.Rahul Yadav, R&D Engineer was the resource person.

Intercollegiate Workshop-National Robotic Championship

 National Robotic Championship 

                                                        An Intercollegiate Workshop on 1.09.2015 & 2.09.2015 in ISENSOBOTZ by the department in association with IIT Madras and Ark Techno Solutions as a part of National Robotic Championship 2016. Mr. Bhushan Gandhi, Resource Person from Ark Techno Solutions. Imparted hands –on training in assembling and programming of Line follower and PHOTO POBIC ROBO  a team of five students of our college were selected for the final to be held in April 2016.

WEB & JAVA APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR

Ø  Faculty from the Department of Computer Applications, Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of  Engineering ,Chennai-55   conducted a  workshop entitled  “ WEB & JAVA APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT” on 21.1.2016 . They also conducted career guidance and awareness on various scholarships available for them for higher studies.
